The HTML code to place your FreePopUps code onto your web
site may be obtained with the "Get Code" command
in the Control Center of FreePopUps.
Always use a browser and verify any changes you make to
your web page.
- Plain Text Editors
Here are directions for inserting your FreePopUps
HTML code using a plain text editor:
- Start an authoring tool (e.g. Notepad) and Open
the source code for your web page.
- Copy and Paste* your FreePopUps HTML code and Save
the file.
- If your web page is on a remote server, upload the
changes to the server.
*Copying is a standard function which almost all
Windows and Mac applications have. To Copy, highlight
the text using the mouse and choose Edit
from the menu bar at the top and then select Copy
(Ctrl C). To Paste, place the cursor where you want to
begin the FreePopUps HTML code and select Edit
then select Paste (Ctrl V).
If you are having problems with submitting your
changes, perhaps you are having permissions problems.
Check with your system administrator for help with
updating your web page.
- Netscape Composer
